Kool Technologies, your Northern Illinois, Central Illinois, and Northern Indiana Stoelting distributor is pleased to announce that Stoelting has acquired the product lines of Ross’s Manufacturing, LLC.
The transaction between the two companies is expected to close at the
end of June 2006. Ross’s Manufacturing, established in 1988 and located
in Escanaba, Michigan, is the recognized leader in manufacturing and
selling frozen custard machines. In addition to its custard machines,
Ross designs, manufactures, and markets a full line of dipping cabinets
and batch freezers to restaurants and frozen dessert establishments.
These product lines, which are currently produced in Escanaba, will be
moved to the Stoelting facility in Kiel and integrated into Stoelting’s
Commercial Products Division.
Stoelting’s Commercial Products Division manufactures soft serve,
shake, batch, and frozen beverage equipment. Stoelting supplies its
products through a broad network of distributors. Its sales force also
serves a number of regional and national accounts in the quick-serve
restaurant market. Stoelting’s Technicare ™ national service network
provides customers with factory-trained professionals for support of
the expanded line. A strong factory warranty backs all Stoelting
equipment. David Sachse, President of Stoelting, commented on the
product line purchase: “Ross custard machines are the market segment
leader, and adding them to our current offerings demonstrates our
commitment to the quick-serve restaurant industry.”
